Our official Christmas card winner!

To celebrate the festive season, we asked schools to get creative and design the official Partnership for Children Christmas Card for 2020.

Over 140 entries were sent in from our Skills for Life schools all around the world! We were very impressed with the standard of entries from all ages and the creativity of the pupils. It made it very hard to pick a winner.

We are now pleased to announce that the winner is Frida Rae aged 9 from Moffatt Academy in Dumfries and Galloway who created a wonderful Apple the hamster Christmas design. The card featuring her design will be sent to our partners all around the world and Moffatt Academy have won a full set of Skills for Life children’s items to use in their classes in 2021.

But, with so many great entries, we obviously weren’t going to just stop there. We also had six amazing runners up who all received Skills for Life children’s items and their designs were made into our official Virgin Giving Christmas e-cards  These can be shared on social media and the money normally have spent on cards and stamps can be donated to Partnership for Children. Our runner up prize schools were:  St Andrews International School, Bangkok (2 winners), St Thomas Werneth School, Oldham, St Joseph’s Oldham, Westfield School, Hereford and Canonbie Primary, Dumfries and Galloway.

Many thanks to all of the pupils and schools that took part in our competition this year and to everyone who has given a Christmas card donation!
