The Cayman Islands is the first country in the world to adopt our Special Needs programme from the start, alongside Zippy’s Friends and Apple’s Friends. Our partner is the Alex Panton Foundation, which was established in memory of Alex Panton, who succumbed to the effects of severe depression at the age of 16. This will also be the first time that mental health promotion will be taught in Cayman schools.
