Celebrating National Social and Emotional Learning Day

Partnership for Children’s suite of Skills for Life programmes support children to develop their social and emotional learning (SEL) skills.

Every year, SEL4US and Urban Assembly host International SEL Day, a day to come together to showcase SEL, promote it to personal and professional networks, and advocate for it in communities. This year's celebration is Friday, March 10 with a focus on Uplifting Hearts, Connecting Minds.

SEL Day is championed by Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL), an organisation who works alongside researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to ensure high-quality, evidence-based social and emotional learning for all. Both our Zippy’s Friends and Passport programmes have been included in their Program Guide which supports educators to select high-quality SEL programmes through showcasing well-designed, evidence-based SEL programs.

We’re joining our partner organisations around the world to celebrate this day and encourage schools, organisations and families to support their children to develop their social and emotional learning skills through the Skills for Life programmes and our free wellbeing resources.
