NHS Education for Scotland
Zippy’s Friends has been included in NHS Education for Scotland’s new Early Intervention Framework for Children and Young People's Mental Health and Wellbeing.
The Early Intervention Framework provides a database of evidence-based prevention and early intervention approaches designed to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. The Framework includes information on the programme’s Usability, Support provided by us and the Evidence of the effectiveness of Zippy’s Friends.
Our Skills for Life programmes are currently running in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland thanks to funding from the Kavli Trust and we hope to expand our work all across Scotland over the next couple of years. We believe the NES Framework will be an extremely useful tool for Scottish schools, other service providers and commissioners to assess whether our programme is a good fit for their local context and meets the need they are looking to fulfil.
